About this file

This is an Amendment of Solicitation/Modification of Contract (Standard Form 30) issued by NAVSUP FLC Sigonella Naples Office on July 1, 2026, for work on the USNS SHIP (T-AKE 13). The amendment number is 0001 with an effective date of July 1, 2026, and relates to solicitation N6817126QN054 dated June 29, 2026. The amendment updates the J-2 work specification package and J-1 Contractor Pricing Breakdown, corrects ship name references throughout the documentation, and removes Work Item 0021 entirely from Section C-4. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.

The contract requires repair and maintenance services for a naval vessel, with Category "A" work items priced on a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) basis, including Gas Free Certificates, Lifeboat Embarkation Light Kickpipe Repair, Anchor Windlass Deck Penetration Repair, Exterior Ladder Repair, and Starboard RHIB Davit Solenoid Repair. Pricing must be submitted in US Dollars using the specified Attachment J-1 format, detailing personnel count, labor days, labor hours, labor rates, material costs, subcontractor costs, and other direct costs. The contract includes provisions for growth work (additional repairs identified during performance, priced at originally quoted labor rates and requiring Contracting Officer authorization) and new work (additional work unrelated to existing specification items, to be negotiated). Scope reductions may be implemented via Contract Change Orders at any time. Only NAVSUP FLCSI Code 200 Contracting Officers are authorized to approve contract changes. Offers must acknowledge receipt of this amendment prior to the solicitation deadline using one of three specified methods.

N6817126QN0540001

(b) Growth work is defined as any additional work identified after award of contract that is required to complete the original scope of work. Scope reductions are incorporated into the contract via Contract Change Orders (CCOs) and can either be a partial deletion of paragraph(s) from the work specification or deletion of a work item in its entirety. The Government will rely on the labor rates and prices entered in Attachment J-1 for negotiating and settling CCO(s).

C-8 Authorized Changes Only by the Contracting Officer

Except as specified in the paragraph directly below, no order, statement, or conduct of Government personnel who visit the Contractor's facilities or in any other manner communicate with Contractor personnel during the performance of this contract shall constitute a change under contract clause 52.243-1 "Changes-Fixed-Price (Deviation 2026-O0038) (Alternate II)" of this contract.

The Contractor shall not comply with any order, direction or request of Government personnel unless it is issued in writing and signed by the Contracting Officer or is pursuant to specific authority otherwise included as a part of this contract.
