About this file
This document is a Performance Work Statement (PWS) for an operator-level training course on the Mastodon Beast systems for the Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa (CJTF-HOA). The PWS states that CJTF-HOA requires training for up to 12 personnel to operate the 9 Mastodon Beast systems that CJTF-HOA has acquired. The contractor shall provide the trainers, training materials, travel, and lodging to conduct a single operator-level course at Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti. The desired outcome is for the 12 students to be certified on the Mastodon Beast systems upon completion of the course. The PWS outlines the security requirements for the contractor and their personnel, including background checks, accreditation of IT systems, and code of conduct. There are no government-furnished items provided, as the students will train on the existing government-owned Mastodon Beast systems.
The related federal contract opportunity is a sources sought notice, not a solicitation, seeking information from capable vendors to provide the Mastodon Beast operator training described in the PWS. Interested vendors are asked to respond with their capability to provide the services, relevant experience, and company contact information. This market research will assist in the future solicitation process, but does not guarantee inclusion on any sources list.
