The request for Quotation (RFQ) number is N66604-26-Q-0172.
The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) intends to award a firm fixed price (FFP) purchase order for the following ThinkMate items on a Sole Source basis to ThinkMate, a Source Code LLC company.
The Government currently uses and has used ThinkMate machines for the past 5 years in its infrastructure to support research. Migrating to a new manufacturer would necessitate a comprehensive and time-consuming review and potential rewrite of algorithms. Many of these configurations that have been fine-tuned have been automated across the system. Making the changes to re-configure the optimization and then create new configurations would have a significant impact to cost and schedule. ThinkMate is the direct source for this requirement and does not have an authorized distribution channel for the required part.
This requirement is being solicited on an unrestricted basis as concurred with by the NUWCDIVNPT Office of Small Business Programs. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 541519 – Information Technology Value Added Resellers. The Small Business Size Standard is 150 Employees.
This solicitation is not a request for competitive quotes. A determination not to compete this proposed requirement based on responses to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the Government. Quotes received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.
