This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items or commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
The Request for Quote (RFQ) number is N6660426Q0167. This requirement is being solicited as a 100% small business set-aside as concurred with by the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) Office of Small Business Programs (OSBP). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 513210.
The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) intends to purchase the following Broad Vision Quicksilver Standard Success software renewal on a brand name only, no substitutions basis from authorized resellers only. Broad Vision is the only option that meets all of the government’s minimum requirements due to the unique nature of the legacy data being analyzed. It is the only software compatible with the existing data file type and is the only tool that can ensure the required structured version control. Transitioning to a new software solution would be prohibitively expensive and would also lead to significant downtime and work stoppage. This would directly impact fleet operations and place mission readiness at an unacceptable risk.
