BASIS FOR AWARD:

Award will be made on a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) basis. To be determined technically acceptable, the contractor shall:

(1) Quote the required items, per the Government’s minimum specifications, in the required quantities; partial quotes will not be accepted;

(2) Provide detailed specifications for each part with quote submission;

(3) Provide proof that all items are shipped from the US, drop shipping is unacceptable;

(4) Provide proof that all items configured/manufactured in house are new products, gray market items will not be accepted;

(5) The offeror must be compliant with the correct CMMC level. The CMMC level for this solicitation is Level 2 (self).

Additionally, the Government will consider past performance information where negative information within Supplier Performance Risk System (SPRS) may render a quote being deemed technically unacceptable.

TOTAL EVALUATED PRICE

The Government will calculate the total evaluated price for each CLIN as follows:

The Government will multiply the unit price by the maximum quantity for each range to derive the extended price for each range.

Next, the Government will add the extended prices for all ranges of each CLIN and divide by the sum of the maximum quantity of all ranges of that CLIN to find the average unit price.

The Government will multiply the average unit price by the maximum number of units of the highest range of the CLIN per year to arrive at a total evaluated price for the CLIN.

The following is an example:

CLIN Description From Quantity To Quantity Unit Price Extended Price 0001 G745256-1, H

HDR 1/2 Rnd 1 4 $60.00 $240.00

5 8 $50.00 $400.00 9 12 $40.00 $480.00 Total 24 $1,120.00

The total line item amount for CLIN 0001 is $1,120.00.

Average unit price = $1,120.00/24 = $46.67 Total evaluated price for CLIN 0001 = $46.67 * 12 = $560.04.

The Government will repeat the above for all years and all ranges for CLINs 0001, 0002, and 0003.

TOTAL EVALUATED PRICE:

The Government will add the multiple quantity range CLIN amounts to the total quoted prices for CLINs 0001 through 0003 to arrive at the Total Evaluated Price (TEP) for the contract to determine lowest price.

**NOTE: The above step ladder ranges and prices are EXAMPLES ONLY. This example does not obligate the Government to purchase these quantities; it is simply to demonstrate the method the Government will use to calculate the total evaluated price.
