About this file
This document is a minimum hardware requirements specification for a Sensors and Sonar Storage (S&S) server to be used in a secure, scalable, and clustered data center that will provide advanced signal processing, acoustic performance measurements, and large-scale data processing capabilities for naval undersea warfare missions.
The key details include the requirement for three (3) rack-mountable 4U servers with dual 24+ core CPUs, 512GB of registered DDR5 memory, RAID storage configuration with SSDs and HDDs, 50Gb and 10Gb network connectivity, redundant power supplies, and compatibility with Windows Server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating systems. The vendor must provide 3 years of advanced hardware replacement and software support. This requirement is being procured under Solicitation Number N6660424Q0633 on a firm-fixed price basis for the Thinkmate brand of servers, with award to the lowest-priced technically acceptable offeror. The solicitation is limited to small business concerns under NAICS code 334111 with a size standard of 1,250 employees.
