1. Will the customer provide the classroom or is it expected that the vendor will?

Vendor to provide within 10 miles of NUWC

Division Newport, Newport, RI 02841.

2. How many students for each of the three classes?

Maximum of 20 students for all three classes.

3. Is a CompTIA preferred vendor who provides official labs & courseware required?

Yes

4. Preference on hard copy books vs electronic copies

Hard copy books

5. Basis of award? LPTA, Best Value to

Govt or other?

Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA)

6. Is a technical proposal with past performance, instructor credentials, vendor experience, etc. desired?

A technical proposal would be helpful along with being a preferred provider. Past performance is helpful but not necessary for

LPTA.

8. Does the Vendor need to supply computers for students?

From the SOW “The contractor is responsible for providing all hardware, software, laptops and any other training materials (textbooks) necessary to teach the courses.”

9. Do you want the exam to be taken on the last day of class or on their own at the end of class?

They want “boot camp” style training meaning on the Friday afternoon of class.

10. Will you accept an alternate Security+ and CASP+ equivalent class?

No, must be preferred Vendor no equivalents.
