QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS N6660424Q0545
Item 3 call out is McMaster-Carr #932T318 0.032" Thick, 0.1875" Hole Diameter,51% Open
Area, Aluminum Perforated Sheet. The size is 48" x 48" and not large enough to cover the outside height of 64" as shown on sheet #1.
Intent is to use multiple sheets as needed and attach with tack weld.
For the top and bottom hoop, the bar is too long to have a single piece construction. In addition there is no weld shown to make a continuous loop. We are proposing a 2 piece loop with welds.
Two-piece loop with weld is acceptable.
The welded cage from tolerances are shown as + .01 inches. This tolerance is too tight to hold on such a large weldment. Proposes a +.125 inch tolerance.
+0.125 inch tolerance is acceptable.
