RFIs 0001: B1190 Restroom Reno N6660424Q0145

1. Contract drawing E-1, keyed note 6, calls for the new tank less water heater to be fed from a new 40A 2 pole circuit via a 3/4” EMT fed from panel MDP. The location of panel MDP is not identified on the drawings. Please provide an approximate distance to carry for the new home run piping back to panel MDP.

Response: Appox. 42’ – 0”. The existing panel in located 26’ – 0” away from bathroom. 8’ up, 25’ over to bathroom, 8’ down to tank less water heater.

2. Contact drawing E-1 panel schedule, lists the panel board as “New main breaker panel”. Nowhere in the drawings does it reference replacing this existing panel board. Is the intent for the electrical contractor to replace the existing main breaker panel board with new or is the name of the panel just “New main Breaker Panel board.

Response: No new panel board needed. We are trying to show the existing circuits (gray) with the new circuits as suggested (bold).

3. If the intent is to replace the panel with new, can a building riser diagram be provided, or specifically, are there loads in the building that would need to be temporarily fed with a generator during the panel board replacement? Assume the outage would be 8 hours long.

Response: no new panel needed

4. Question brought up in Site Visit: Temporary restrooms to be provided for Government personnel by Government. KTR shall provide temporary bathroom (porta-john) for themselves to use on-site.
