RFI 0003

1. Please clarify if this project does or does not require controls for unit to be tied into preexisting NUWC facility BMS system overseen by a separate proprietary vendor.

Answer: In some locations the contractor will need to provide conduit in order to move the existing location of the card swipe. The contractor will also need to install an ADA Handicap push button in close proximity to the existing card swipe. (See NUWC Drawing 23-046A, sheet 2, door number 4a & 4b). The contractor is to only provide power to the new hardware and not the card swipe as existing card swipes are functioning.
