v1.2_JUNE2016
SOLE MAKE AND MODEL/BRAND NAME SPECIFICATION
Units for the SESIF Lab
BACKGROUND:
Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport, Code 3433 has been tasked to replace and add existing analyzer units that have either failed or there is not enough to meet testing schedules. This purchase is for (2) two MXA Signal Analyzer, Frequency Range (10 Hz to 26.5 GHz), PN N9020A-526, from the MFG Keysight Technologies. The other item being purchased is (1) one Handheld Spectrum Analyzer, PN FSH8.08, from the MFG Rohde & Schwarz. These units are needed to support testing for ship schedules and if these specific brand name units are not purchased, there would be delays in ship schedule testing. The estimated cost for this SAP is around $75,000. The expected delivery date is 2-3 weeks from award.

N9020A-526 MXA Signal Analyzer, Frequency Range (10 Hz to

Microlease FSH8.08 Handheld Spectrum

1 NEW Rohde & Schwarz
BRAND NAME SPECIFICATION:
The Government is looking to replace failed units with the same brand name units to keep commonality of supporting files as we have all the supporting test files build that work in these units, as well as commonality between test data outputs with all our units. We currently have 1 qty of the Keysight Technologies N9020A-526 analyzer and are now purchasing 2 additional units. We need the additional two units because there has been sharing of the 1 analyzer among 3 labs for over a year and trying to test units for the fleet is becoming difficult meeting multiple testing schedules with one unit. We are purchasing 1 qty of the Rohde & Schwarz FSH8.08 to replace units that we have had fail. If these specific brand name units from both Keysight Technologies and Rohde & Schwarz are not purchased, there would be delays in multiple ship schedule testing events.
