STATEMENT OF WORK ERP#1300488956
PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE AND SERVICE CONTRACT FOR SEVEN (7) ELECTRICAL
MOTOR GENERATORS AT NUWCDIVNPT
1.0 BACKGROUND
The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) has seven (7) on-site motor generators which provide a continuous supply of non-standard electrical power to Mission Critical shipboard test equipment in Buildings 1258, 1259, 1319, and 1320. The motor generators are not “facilities equipment” since the units are used for the exclusive needs of the shipboard test equipment and do not provide electrical power for normal building use. The motor generators range in age from twenty to thirty years old and have been in continuous service since their original installation dates. The units were last inspected in April of 2013.
2.0 SCOPE
The contractor shall provide annual preventative maintenance and emergency diagnostic and repair services for the seven (7) electrical motor generators located at NUWCDIVNPT. Preventative maintenance and emergency diagnostic and repair service will vary with the make and model and age of each piece of equipment specified below.
The type of funding applicable to this effort is NUWCDIVNPT Overhead funds.
3.0 REQUIREMENTS
The contractor must specialize in the installation, service, and repair of the electrical motor generators in use at NUWCDIVNPT as specified below:
