About this file
This is a Sources Sought Questionnaire for Material Handling Equipment (MHE) Leasing Support Services at NAVSEALOGCEN Cheatham Annex, issued by the Department of the Navy Naval Sea Systems Command. The questionnaire is designed to gather information from potential contractors regarding their capabilities, experience, and capacity to provide MHE leasing support services prior to formal solicitation. This pre-solicitation action will inform the Navy's set-aside determination and help establish the competitive landscape for the future full and open or set-aside solicitation. Respondents are expected to provide detailed information about their company qualifications, relevant past performance on similar MHE leasing contracts, equipment inventory, operational capabilities, and pricing models.
The questionnaire serves as a market research tool to identify qualified sources and assess contractor interest in supporting the Navy's material handling equipment needs. While no formal response deadline, award timeline, or pricing information is specified in this particular document summary, interested contractors should provide comprehensive responses demonstrating their ability to supply, maintain, and support various types of material handling equipment at the Cheatham Annex location. The information collected will directly influence whether the resulting solicitation will be competed as a full and open requirement or set aside for small businesses or other designated categories.
