The following items are applicable to this modification:

SUMMARY OF CHANGES (REVISED)

1) The purpose of the subject amendment is to extend the closing date to March 30, 2015 and to provide answers and clarifications as follows:

1. Standard 1100kVA UPS operating voltage is 480VAC input and output voltage. Vendor engineering can change the parameters of the UPS to operate at the required 450VAC input and output but the UPS will have to be de-rated to a 1030kVA UPS. This will also void the UL listing of the UPS.

a. Is the 1030kVA UPS rating acceptable?

Answer: A 1030KVA UPS rating is acceptable for 450VAC. Please verify that UPS output is adjustable between 450-465VAC.

b. A UL field label can be applied for an additional cost. Is this acceptable?

Answer: A UL field label is acceptable. Please quantify and include the additional cost.

2. Section 4.3.C indicates a battery design life of 15 years. However, section 1.A.2 reference a battery design life of 10 years. Which is correct?

Answer: 10 year battery design life is acceptable.

3. Section 8.1 B on page 18 of the spec states: The Contractor supplied Facility UPS shall be modular in construction, and have at a minimum, an independent bypass module, independent modular power modules, and independent battery modules. Is the intent for each of the four 275kVA UPMs in the UPS to have a separate battery or can all 4 UPM’s run off a common battery?

Answer: All 4 power modules may run off a common battery.

4. Section 8.1.J on page 19 reference 2000AT breakers for the Maintenance Bypass and Maintenance Isolation. However, Figure 1 drawing on page 10 indicate 3200 AT. Which breaker size is correct? Eaton intended to use 3000AF/3000AT trip breakers. Is this acceptable?

Answer: A 3000AF/3000AT breaker is acceptable for the bypass and maintenance isolation.

5. Section 10.1 requires Factory Acceptance Testing. Eaton’s factory doesn’t have 450VAC available. Can the FAT testing be done at 480VAC?

Answer: Factory Acceptance Testing shall be performed at 480VAC interface power. However, during on-site startup and acceptance testing, the unit shall be configured and warranted to operate at a voltage range of 450-

465VAC.

2) All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
