QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

Q: For the dryer and dryer vent cleanings, are they dryers vented through an outside wall, or are they vented through the roof requiring us to climb a ladder? How many stories is the building these are located in and what floors are the appliances located on? 1st floor, 2nd floor, etc.?

Answer: Roof vented, 1st floor of each building.

Q: Re: Parts that have not been identified or diagnosed. Until you can determine the exact diagnoses it's hard to know for sure what part is needed. So do we use an estimate, and if it exceeds that can you submit for the additional cost? Or do you estimate a cost high to cover all parts?

Answer: The Government cannot dictate how you formulate your cost; however, this is a Firm Fixed price contract and the awarded price for each CLIN will not be adjusted.

Q: In the form it indicates they estimate 6 visits for repairs a year. Are they indicating they estimate 6 visits per appliance, or 6 visits for to include all 14 appliances?

Answer: 6 Visits Total per year.

Q: I don't see anything for a trip charge, is that to be included into estimate per repair?

Answer: If this is something you forsee, include the cost in your price.

Q: I don't see anything about a second tech., from time to time you need help removing the top dryer to access the appliance for the repair.

Answer: If this is something you forsee, include the cost in your price.
