Q&A Session:
1. Question: With set up of first article testing, is this design build or is it build to print?
a. Answer: This is design build.
2. Question: With design build is there an NRE task that would be associated with the first article?
a. Answer: Yes, that is correct.
3. Question: What is the purpose of the secret requirement? Why is there a secret requirement on a set of hardware that’s being delivered to an endpoint that doesn’t have software loaded?
a. Answer: This question is still under review at this time, further information will be provided at time of solicitation.
4. Question: Regarding the minimum dimension requirement of 19 inches minimum is there a desired size, and if so, is there a GFI provided to show what a maximum dimension should be achieved?
a. Answer: This would be enveloped specifications in the product specifications that would be provided. Official solicitation will include enveloped specifications
5. Question: Mention of touch screen as desired in the oil lab as opposed to additional labs, should not all be touch screen.
a. Answer: No, only fuel and oil lab can have touch screen, RSC cannot have touch screen, which is due to some software requirements separate from this. However, the RSC could also have the ability to be if they can also be disabled that would be acceptable.
To clarify, the touchscreen feature can only be active on the FOLPC.
6. Question: Clarification into the Security question above, specifically for key personnel always had the security clearance requirement, the question of specifically who needs the clearance when it comes to production staff?
a. Answer: This question is still under review at this time, further information will be provided at time of solicitation.
