PURCHASE DESCRIPTION

1. INTRODUCTION

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Metrology and Calibration (METCAL)

Program has a requirement to procure a Pratt & Whitney LMU1000M Labmaster Universal (AKF) and a Pratt & Whitney LMM-1219 Laser Measuring Machine

2. BACKGROUND

The Pratt & Whitney LMU1000M Labmaster Universal and LMM-129 Laser Measuring

Machine are used to calibrated master gage blocks, thread rings, thread plugs, thread wires and pin gages.

3. REQUIREMENTS

3.3 Operator/Service Manual. A Technical manual for the operation and/or service of the system shall be provided in accordance with CDRL T001.

3.4 Calibration Certification and/or Certificate of Conformance Reporting. A calibration certification with calibration data or certificate of conformance shall be provided with each part number in accordance with CDRL A001.

3.5 Instrument Calibration Procedure. The Original Equipment Manufacturer’s (OEM) ICP shall be provided for calibrating the system in accordance with CDRL A002.

3.6 Software/Firmware Version Description. The contractor shall provide the US Government the release and/or version number of each item of firmware and software included in the calibration standard in accordance with CDRL A003.

3.7 Software/Firmware Change Request. When an item of firmware or software needs to be changed a Software/Firmware Change Request shall be submitted to the US Government in accordance with CDRL A004.

3.8 A Training Syllabus utilizing the Technical Manual(s) (CDRL T001) for training shall be provided to the Government in accordance with CDRL A005.

3.9 Warranty. The manufacturer shall provide the minimum commercial warranty for the system of at least one (1) calendar year from date of shipment.

3.10 Warranty Sticker. Each current system shall have a sticker affixed to the outside of the unit enclosure.

3.11 Serialization. All units shall have unique serial numbers.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

A. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE / REQUIRED DELIVERY DATES

The period of performance shall be 360 days from the award date of the contract award.
