N6426724R0023 2K TORQUE QUESTIONS
Could you please provide any additional information on the items requested in 3.1.1 Various Adapters? We are having problems identifying the following:
The following site will be of use in clarifying our needs:
https://akotorque.com/adapters-plates-bushings/
1. Torque Watch Adapters to calibrate the following sizes: Waters torque watches (both the small and large size torque watches), Tohnichi torque watches (both the small and large size torque watches), Snap-On TEX torque watches (both the small and large size torque watches)
- Does the requestor mean a full range of drive sizes such as sizes: 1/4”, 3/8”, 1/2”, 3/4”, 1” or specific drive sizes?
- Per the AKO TSD1016-30, small and large are the general specifications used to describe the sizes of the watches to hold them in place.
2. Square Drive Bar Adapters in the following sizes: 3/8”, 1/2”, 3/4”, 1”, 1 1/2”
- We are not familiar with the term: Drive Bar Adapter. Could the requestor supply a reference sku or model number of an item they are replacing or a more detailed description?
- Example MN: TSD350 (AKO)
3. Hex Drive Bar Adapters in the following sizes: 1/4”, 5/16”, 3/8”, 7/16”, 1/2”, 9/16”, 5/8”, 11/16”,3/4”, 13/16”, 7/8”, 15/16”, 1”, 1 1/16”, 1 1/8”
- Same as Question 2.
- Example MN: TSD340 (AKO)
4. Square Bushing Adapters in the following sizes: 1/4”, 3/8”, 1/2”, 3/4”, 1”
- We are not familiar with the term: Bushing Adapter. Could the requestor supply a reference sku or model number of an item they are replacing or a more detailed description?
- Example MN: TSD362 (AKO)
5. New question added 8/23/24:
Upon reviewing the Calibration Standards Specifications for the 2,000 ft-lb Force & Torque Calibrator document (Attachment 1) RFQ – we did not see Torque Multipliers listed as torque equipment required for the capabilities of the calibration bench. We would consider torque multipliers torque equipment that would be found in Naval inventory. Question is – “is the ability to calibrate torque multipliers a requirement for this system?”
Torque Multipliers calibration capability are not required for the 2K Torque Bench.
