About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) file for Solicitation 25-SIMACQ-D30-0030, a Navy procurement opportunity for motherboards. The Q&A addresses vendor inquiries about product specifications and ordering requirements, specifically confirming that the Navy seeks motherboards with flexible quantity options. Vendors can propose pricing for motherboards, with the Navy preferring orders in sets of 10 up to 60 units, with all 60 units being of the same type.
The solicitation is issued by the Department of the Navy Naval Sea Systems Command under Solicitation Number N6339425Q4023. The Q&A clarifies that no additional computer components such as memory, SSDs, hard drives, processors, GPUs, or computer chassis are required at this time, as these are covered under separate Strategic Acquisition Protocols (SAPs). The document suggests that any expansion of component requirements would necessitate either modifying the current solicitation or creating a new one.

25-SIMACQ-D30-0030 Motherboard (Resolicit) Q&A
1. Because of the volatility of the market, would it be acceptable to submit pricing on two different motherboards?
We do not mind getting pricing for two different motherboards, but if order will be made up of different motherboards then we will need them in sets of 10. So quantity 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, or 60 is acceptable, with all 60 of the same type being preferred.
2. Do you need any memory, SSD, hard drives, processors, GPU’s, computer chassis or any other components?
No we do not require additional components at this time”. Our other components are covered under other SAPs, and to my knowledge, I would not be able to request other such components without either modifying this SAP or making a new one.
