BLUESTAR Forensic Magnum
SIRCHIE
BLUESTAR Forensic Magnum is 3 times more powerful than the standard BLUESTAR Forensic formulation and is specially formulated for the critical cases when minute blood particles are searched for. It will detect even the microscopic droplets that have been projected onto an aggressor's clothing. These droplets, invisible to the naked eye, and even under a Magnifier, are sometimes the only evidence available to the Investigator. With the BLUESTAR Magnum, the discovery of these invaluable pieces of evidence is facilitated due to the increased sensitivity and intensity of the luminescence. The Magnum is also especially helpful in searching for blood on washed garments or other objects.

The Forensic Magnum is particularly suited for forensic lab technicians who need an extremely efficient chemical for detailed examination of items such as clothing or weapons. It's also effective in a variety of situations in a laboratory or at a crime scene that involves a limited search area or smooth vertical surfaces, using a fine mist atomizer.

BLUESTAR Forensic Magnum includes:

1 - Bottle containing 4 Oz (125ml) of chemiluminescent solution

1 - Foil packet containing 3 tablets of oxidizer

BLUESTAR Forensic Tablets - 8
SIRCHIE
Our 8 Application BLUESTAR Forensic Test package is a very compact and lightweight multi-use tool. Each pack provides the Investigator with the capability to prepare 8 - 4 oz (125ml) BLUESTAR working solution tests or up to 1 - 32 oz (1L) application if all of the tablets are used together.
BLUESTAR Forensic Training Tablets 8 pack
SIRCHIE
Train your investigators to presumptively identify blood at a crime scene while saving money! BLUESTAR Forensic training tablets react the same way as regular BLUESTAR tablets but the “Training” version destroys DNA. An ideal product to train crime scene investigators while cutting back on training expenses. Each pack provides the instructor with the possibility to prepare 8 times 125 ml (4 oz) of BLUESTAR® FORENSIC working solution or 1L (32 oz) at once. Preparation: To prepare the working solution, you will need to dissolve a pair of tablets (white + beige) in 125 ml (4 oz) of tap water in a bottle equipped with a fine mist atomizer. If you need more reagent, use several pairs of tablets at once. Learn how one department trained its investigators to photograph blood with BLUESTAR in this blog post. Bullet Hole Test Kit
Arrowhead
A portable laboratory for rapid ID of bullet holes. The identification of bullet holes may be very important in the investigation of criminal cases involving the use of firearms. These bullet holes are usually characterized by the presence of metals (mainly lead and copper) originating from the bullet’s outer surfaces in the margins of these holes. Using our Bullet Hole Testing (BTK) Master Kit can help the investigator identify the caliber and direction from which the bullet was fired.

The test is performed by applying a few drops of reagents on Benchkote™ paper (plastic-backed filter paper) and applying it to the suspected bullet hole. The test reagents are contained within glass ampoules in specially designed protective plastic tubes, making the process safe for the operator, as there is no direct contact with the chemicals when the ampoule is broken. The 4-step process takes 3-4 minutes from the time of sampling until final results are obtained, enabling quick screening of large numbers of suspected bullet holes. The kit has been designed for simplicity of operation and can be used at a crime scene by any technician or non-scientific personnel with some basic training. Several bullet holes can be examined at each crime scene using only one set of test tubes.

Laser Trajectory Pointer (Green)
EVI-PAQ
The EVI-PAQ® BP-2 Laser Trajectory Pointer is a unique Class IIIa 5mw laser designed specifically for trajectory investigations and the green laser beam is more visible to the eye (and camera), so it is preferred in brighter conditions.. Crafted to work in conjunction with our trajectory and protrusion rods and tripod mount, it can be used to quickly and accurately determine the source and trajectory of bullets at a crime scene. It is co-aligned with its aluminum case, meaning that the laser won’t “wobble” when it is rotated. The BP-2’s innovative design places the on/off switch internal to the unit. Rather than use an external button which could be prone to breakage or failure, it is activated when a steel connector such as a trajectory rod is screwed into place at its base. The laser is powered by two AA batteries (included).
