About this file

This is Standard Form 30 Amendment 0001 to Solicitation N6264926RL006, issued by the Naval Supply Systems Command Fleet Logistics Center Yokosuka for ship repair services on the USNS JOHN LEWIS (T-AO 205). The amendment, effective 23 May 2026, provides answers to 28 clarification questions and revises Work Item 0561B specifications per Question 20. The solicitation closing date remains 15 June 2026 at 1000 hours Singapore time, and no extension is being granted.

Key technical clarifications address material specifications, OEM requirements, environmental compliance, and operational procedures across multiple work items. Offerors must use dry abrasive blasting rather than power tooling for surface preparation on deckhouse and exhaust stack preservation work. For equipment maintenance including refrigeration systems, cranes, and elevators, contractors may use qualified local vendors if they have access to OEM information and performance specifications, except for the personnel elevator which requires the original OEM. Materials for the LTFW Pump Seals (WI 0512) will be contractor-supplied with supplier contact information provided (John Crane Inc). The amendment confirms that ship force will not reside onboard during the availability period, testing gases and nitrogen cartridges must be contractor-supplied, and broadband internet connections must support minimum 20 simultaneous users at 1,000 Mbps download and 50 Mbps upload speeds to both the shipboard system and OMT office. OEM second trip costs should be included in offers if initial visits fall within the period of performance when associated equipment cannot be operated.
