Solicitation N62645-15-R-0001 Amendment 0001

28 January 2015 Answers to Questions

Description of Amendment The purpose of this amendment is to answer questions in response to the combined synopsis/solicitation. The hour and date specified for receipt of offer is not extended. No other changes have occurred.

Question 01: A requirement of Solicitation number N62645-15-R-0001 is:

The reagent shall be compatible with a high throughput, liquid reagent, immunochemistry screening analyzer such as the Roche Hitachi Chemical Analyzer Modular (D/P) or Beckman Coulter AU58300 Clinical Chemistry Analyzer (analyzer).

Other requirements are regarding the response are:

4.3. Offerors shall propose a price per test based on the estimated number of tests for CLINs 0001, 1001, 2001, 3001, and 4001 in Attachment 1: Pricing Sheet.

4.5. Offerors shall provide a price per kit based on the estimated number of tests proposed for CLINs 0001, 1001, 2001, 3001, and 4001 in Attachment 1: Pricing Sheet.

The THC number of tests per kit (Kit Yield) differ between the Roche Modular and Beckman au5830 analyzers for our product to be submitted.

Our company would like to submit a price per test that is consistent for both analyzers. The proposed kit price will differ depending on which analyzer, Roche or Beckman the kit is purchased to be use on.

Is this acceptable? Or must the final kit pricing be the same price for both analyzers?

Answer 01: The offeror shall propose a single kit size that meets the requirements set forth in the solicitation. In accordance with FAR 52.212-1(e) the offeror may submit multiple proposals; subject to the requirement that each proposal is for a single kit size. Each proposal must stand on its own and fit the format instructions found in the “Addendum to 52.212-1 Instructions to Offeror.”
