1.0 Background/Introduction:
DKL maintains a curated portfolio of information products from a variety of credible and proprietary sources that support teaching, learning, and research needs of NPS students and faculty. Selection is based on relevance to curricula and research interest, the quality of content, and some technical delivery preferences. Routledge is a well-known scholarly academic publisher. The Routledge Handbooks Online (RHO) 2019 Collection, brings together the world’s leading scholars to provide a cutting-edge overview of classic and current research and future trends in the Social Sciences, and provides an authoritative guide to theory and method, the key sub-disciplines, and the primary current debates. The
Security Collection focuses on topics such as International Security, Terrorism Studies, Strategic Studies, Intelligence, and Peace & Conflict Studies. It includes a range of current and retrospective titles from cutting-edge research monographs to supplementary texts, handbooks and textbooks. Collections sought are in subject areas of interest to the Graduate School of Business & Public Policy, the School of International
Graduate Studies, and the School of Operational and Information Sciences (Defense
Analysis). We already own the 2017-2018 collections. Perpetual access to these new titles will ensure that our collection is current, and will strengthen research capabilities in the listed schools.
