Upcoming Site Visit/Industry Day The Government is planning to hold a Site Visit/Industry Day at the Naval Air Warfare Center, Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD), Orlando, Florida after the draft RFP is posted. The Government intends to include Sections L&M with the draft RFP; but, there is a possibility it may not be included. The tentative timeframe for the Site Visit/Industry Day is August 2018. Detailed information will be published with the draft RFP.
Ability to Request Data The Government will notify interested contractors when Government Furnished Information (GFI) and Government Furnished Software (GFS) will be available. Due to the large amount of data, each contractor will be asked to provide a blank hard drive with a return shipping label. Data will not be provided until a Non-Disclosure & Confirmation of Data Safeguarding Agreement is signed and returned to NAWCTSD.
Additional Information It is anticipated that this acquisition will be competed full and open on an unrestricted basis; however, the Government is still awaiting final approval. Questions on this should be directed to the Office of Small Business Programs (OSBP) or the Procuring Contracting Officer (PCO).
This Indefinite Delivery/ Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) Contract will include Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Delivery Orders and potentially classified areas.
Going forward, all new entities registering in General Service Administration’s (GSA) System for Award Management (SAM), as well as existing registrations being updated or renewed, will require the submission of an original, signed notarized letter identifying the authorized Entity Administrator for the entity associated with the Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number before the registration will be activated. It is recommended that all interested parties be aware that processing this additional information may take several days and are proactive in maintaining the SAM registrations in an “Active” status as the Government cannot award to an entity without an “Active” SAM registration. More information can be found at www.gsa.gov/samupdate.
