Questions for N61331-20-Q-JK48: See answers below

Is this a new requirement (has this been done before – if so – can we please get the previous contract number?

Answer This is a new requirement

What is the start date please, for the initial Trailer on site/initial delivery?

Answer No trailer needed – no start date necessary. We only need diver’s gas. We own our gas storage skids What is the GOV’s estimate between the time frame between the initial delivery to the second delivery?

Answer: There should only be one delivery. That is receipt of NSD’s gas storage containers from FIBA Tech and shipment to Panama City, FL

What are the estimated days from the 2nd Delivery to the redeployment of the Trailer/configuration?

Answer: Refer to #2 We would require a daily rental fee – as we are uncertain (why we are asking) how long that trailer will remain on site? Please Note: This requirement is “heavy” on Helium – and given our Helium support to NEDU – (and a much larger trailer) is downloaded in a few days, that accrues daily rental after (4) Calendars Day (which is sufficient to download to NEDU).

ANSWER: Refer to #2

Based on the requirement/configuration – the requirement may incur a separate rental for the Trailer Answer: Refer to #2 This is a “nonstandard” requirement – NOTE: There are (2) precision/custom “dive blends” of different gases, and (2) Pure (Oxygen & Helium) Gases required

Answer: 75-80K scf of helium, 15K scf of 100% oxygen, 15K scf of 84% He/ 16% Oxygen, 15K scf 96% He/ 4% Oxygen.

Who is transporting this, and on what?

Answer Coordination will be handled by NSD between FIBA Technologies and awarded vendor for gas near the end of Sep.

Line item 1 says QTY 2 at 60,000 on Helium. It shows QTY 3 each on the transportation; Basically, the way it reads to me is that the Gov't would need the trailer filled twice and that would be why they have transportation for 1 trip to bring it out, 2nd trip to bring the second trailer out and 3rd trip to take unit out.

Also, I will need to know approximately how long the project is for.

Summary:

NEDU NSD has a contract with FIBA Technologies (N61331-20-P-0132) to fabricate three 8-tube modules, each with the ability to store approximately 60K standard cubic feet (SCF) of gas. We are coordinating the shipment of these containers with whoever wins award to fill these with diver’s breathing gases. Two modules should be filled with 100% helium. The last 8-tube module will have 2 bottles filled with 100% oxygen, 2 bottles filled with 96% helium/4% oxygen, 2 bottles with 84% helium/16% oxygen, and the last 2 bottles filled with 100% helium. According to the last update we received FIBA Tech expects to be completed around the end of September. We are only procuring gas to fill the empty gas storage containers from FIBA. We do NOT have a need to rent any gas storage containers.”
