Potential Vendor Questions/Responses
1. Q - Can you please confirm that the end user does not require the additional stop collar?
The solicitation document says “no stop collar” but this additional stop collar has been installed for other orders for 25’, 4/2 lances (it is normally installed at 82” from the end of the lance).
Response – No stop collar is requested.
Technical background: Previous orders supported manual cleaning only. This material now supports manual and automated tooling which changes the locations of the stop collars. In order to support both cleaning methods, we are requesting that no stop collars are installed by the vendor.
