About this file
This document is a Question and Answer (Q&A) related to a federal contract opportunity for Siemens brand motor controllers. The government does not have wiring schematics for the motor controllers and has not previously ordered the specific model numbers requested. The part numbers provided indicate the equipment characteristics required, which include various accessory codes. The related federal contract opportunity is for a firm-fixed-price contract for Siemens brand motor controllers, with a desired delivery date of 22 April 2024 and a required delivery date of 30 April 2024. Question & Answer #001 Question:
I have been assigned to configure the starters Gov’t has requested. Do you have wiring schematics for them? If they have been purchased previously, do you know or can you get the SO numbers off the originals?
Answer:
Gov’t does not have the wiring schematics for the motor controllers. Siemens provides a very basic schematic that is available on their website/catalog, but it does not include details for all of the options requested.
Gov’t is including that diagram below, however, please note that the wiring shown may not represent the options selected. As for the “SO Numbers”, I do not know what the bidder is referring to. All I have is the part numbers with the to be supplied characteristic/accessory codes.

We have not ordered these motor controllers previously.
