QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS:
Questions and Answers Request for Quote (RFQ) N4215819QE057 Provided as Information Only
1. QUESTION: The Conex Box with Code 2330 is for 20’L X 8’6”H X 8”W. Specification calls for 20’L X 9’6”H X 8’W. Please clarify?
ANSWER: The specification calls for 20’L X 9’6”H X 8’W.
2 QUESTION: What kind of strut to be used?
ANSWER: 1-5/8” U-channel (see attached picture). Even though it’s the finished product view, but it shows it rather well.
3. QUESTION: Can a previously used Conex Box be used?
ANSWER: No. Used Conex is unacceptable. A new Conex Box is required.
4. QUESTION: On the Attachment A, below the pricing page, it states the following: “Certificate of Compliance 92 Required”. I see the form for the Certificate of Compliance but what is Clause 92?
ANSWER: The Certificate of Compliance will be taken out of the solicitation. A revised Attachment A to the solicitation will be provided in Amendment 0002.
5. QUESTION: Certified Test Report per Attachment. I think this refers to the Contractors Responsibility Certification on the solicitation document, page 3, where you check yes or no if you meet the requirements. If it doesn’t, what are forms that are needed to meet this requirement?
ANSWER: The Certified Test Reports per Attachment will also be taken out of the solicitation. A revised Attachment A to the solicitation will be provided in Amendment 0002. The purpose of the Contractors Responsibility Certification on the solicitation document, page 3, is to make sure that the potential vendors understand the specifications on the solicitation. This is part of the evaluation factors in the solicitation.
