AMENDMENT 009

The purpose of this Amendment is to answer Bidders Questions No. 009 and 010 and extend the proposal due date from November 13, 2019 to November 19, 2019 at 2:00 PM EST.

Bidders Question No. 009 – Work Item 150-11-001

Question: In the recent 150-11-001 (E1) paragraph 3.3 states: Accomplish the requirements of

009-32 of 2.1 for new and disturbed surface. In 009-32 what table, line and column should the contractor use for new and disturbed surfaces?

Answer: The Contractor shall select the appropriate Table and Line for the areas that might be considered new and disturbed in accordance with NSI 009- 32, including Paragraphs 3.1.6 and

3.6.

Bidders Question No. 010 – Work Item 150-11-001

SECTION A - SOLICITATION/CONTRACT FORM

The required response date/time has changed from 13-Nov-2019 02:00 PM to 19-Nov-2019 02:00 PM.

SECTION L - INSTRUCTIONS, CONDITIONS AND NOTICES TO BIDDERS

The following have been modified:

Question: Due to the government changing the requirements for the roof repair in ERRATA

ONE for specification 150-11-001 (E1) to include conducting a reseal of existing roof and not the removal and replacement of the roof, the roofing subcontractor has rescinded their bid to do the work. The subcontractor who knows the condition of the barge roof in it’s current condition will not put their company reputation on the line by accomplishing what they consider less than adequate repair of the barge roof. In light of this decision, an extension is requested to allow for a replacement roofing contractor to be located and have time to inspect barge roof who will agree to conducting the roof repairs as outlined in the work specification.

Answer: The Proposal Due Date is extended to Tuesday, November 19 at 2:00 PM EST.
