QUESTION 24:
At the present time, the closing date for this solicitation is January 4, 2016, which is the day after a long holiday weekend, meaning we would have to express mail our proposal no later than Thursday, December 31, 2015 for timely delivery. Commencing next week (December 21 st ), the majority of vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors are closing for the Holidays and/or for inventorying as they do every year at this time. This is greatly hampering our efforts to obtain proper and competitive pricing. Please extend the closing date for this solicitation by at least seven
(7) business days to allow us to obtain proper pricing and therefore provide a more competitive and economical proposal to the Government.
ANSWER 24:
Yes. The proposal submission date is now changed to 11 January 2016, 1400 Local SERMC Time.
