About this file

This Statement of Work (SOW) details preventative maintenance services for a Caterpillar Diesel Generator (Serial Number G6B19926, 500 kW) at the Naval Regional Maintenance Department-Point Loma (NRMD-PL) Naval Shipyard. The comprehensive maintenance agreement covers a one-year period from 06/01/2025 to 06/20/2025, with specific requirements including multi-point preventative maintenance inspections, annual service, automatic transfer switch service, and alternator winding tests.

Key service requirements include comprehensive equipment inspection, fluid level checks, filter replacements, oil and coolant sampling, electrical system testing, and performance documentation. The contract mandates that all work must be performed by a qualified Caterpillar Diesel Generator technician using genuine Caterpillar replacement parts. Specific parts to be replaced include engine oil (OIL-DEO ULS), oil filters, fuel filters, and water separators. The maintenance is required to maintain the diesel generator's California state permit to operate, with work to be coordinated with designated naval shipyard personnel at Portsmouth and Point Loma locations.
