About this file

This is a specification document for Temporary Electrical Cables (Spec #: 4532025) that establishes technical requirements and compliance procedures for cable procurement.

Bidders must submit descriptive literature including Equipment Data Sheets (EDS) sufficient to demonstrate compliance with the specifications. The document requires bidders to identify any variances to the technical specifications and clearly state proposed model numbers while redacting information not applicable to the proposed unit. Supporting information must be organized and packaged by unit. Bidders must complete Table E1 (SOW Compliance Checklist) to verify conformity with technical requirements and annotate either compliance or exceptions through Code 230 Temporary Services and Support Division. The compliance checklist addresses equipment specifications in Sections 3.1.1 through 3.1.4 (Conductor, Insulation, Cable Type, and Jacket), Sections 3.2.1 and 3.2.2 (Connector and Lugs), Section 3.3 (Cabling Assembly), Section 3.4 (Testing), Section 4 (Responsibilities), Section 5 (Delivery Acceptance and Return), and Section 6 (General). For each requirement, bidders must indicate YES or NO for compliance and provide explanations for any exceptions. The instructions emphasize that all answers must be consistent with provided brochures and specification sheets, and that the checklist is not all-inclusive; all SOW requirements must be satisfied with comments required for any negative responses.
