About this file

This Statement of Work details requirements for Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWPs) needed by Portsmouth Naval Shipyard to support maintenance of cranes and shipyard facilities. The requirement includes six different specifications of MEWPs: a 26' Genie scissor lift (GS2646), a 45' JLG electric articulating boom lift (E450AJ), a 66' JLG boom lift (660SJ), an 86' JLG boom lift (860SJ), a 135' JLG boom lift (1350SJP), and a 30' Genie electric boom lift (Z30/20N).

The SOW specifies detailed requirements for each MEWP type, including power source requirements (battery or fuel-powered), tire specifications, platform capacity requirements, and safety features like fall protection anchorage points. All units must be no more than three model years old at contract start. The contractor must provide maintenance services with 4-hour response time for repairs, quarterly inspections, and replacement units if repairs cannot be completed within 24 hours. One CLIN requires delivery to Cutler NCTAMS in Maine, while the rest are for Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. Contract periods vary by CLIN from weekly to yearly durations, with three units of the 135' boom lift required for year-long periods.
