3. REQUIREMENTS:

3.1 Manage and dispose of all hazardous waste in accordance with 2.2 through 2.5.

3.2 Hazardous waste, as identified in 2.2, expected to be produced during performance of this Job Order: NONE.

3.3 Nothing contained in this Work Item shall relieve the contractor from complying with applicable federal, state, and local laws, codes, ordinances, and regulations, including the obtaining of licenses and permits in connection with hazardous waste handling and disposal in the performance of this contract.

4. NOTES:

4.1 The contractor is expected to use best management practice to identify and dispose of all hazardous waste.

4.2 Hazardous wastes are determined by one or more of the following methods:

4.2.1 Chemical analysis which shows that the material

characteristics of ignitability, corrosivity, reactivity, and/or toxicity (Toxicity Characteristic Leachate Procedure - TCLP) exceed the limits for that material in 40 CFR 261.20 Subpart C.

4.2.2 Reference to a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS), or

manufacturer's information.

4.2.3 Applying knowledge of the hazardous characteristics of waste pertaining to materials and/or processes used.

3. REQUIREMENTS:

3.1 Accomplish the requirements of 009-90 of 2.1. (See Note 4.1)

3.1.1 Provide the services of a qualified on-site Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) representative to accomplish installation, post-installation retesting and calibration, of the equipment listed in 1.3, located in 1.2, in accordance with the requirements of 2.2.

Installation will occur on 4EA existing ADACS units and One EA on board spare (OBRP) unit.

3.1.1.1 Submit one legible copy, in approved transferrable

media, of a report listing results of the requirements of 3.1.1 to the SUPERVISOR.

3.1.2 Provide the services of a qualified on-site Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) representative for technical support of equipment listed in 1.3, located in 1.2, during operational testing, as directed by the SUPERVISOR. (See Note 4.3)

3.1.2.1 Submit one legible copy, in approved transferrable

media, of a report listing results of the requirements of 3.1.2 to the SUPERVISOR.
