(1) On page 26 of 71 in the PWS, it states: The Contractor shall be an authorized distributor or certified repair service technician for Industrial Vacuum Equipment Corporation (IVEC). Is this to say that my company cannot go after this job as a Prime and subcontract part of the work to be done via a subcontractor if we're not an authorized distributor or certified service technician for IVEC?

Government Answer:

The contractor performing work must demonstrate a formal qualification that proves expertise to service Industrial Vacuum Equipment brand of equipment.

A bid may be submitted, however if the PWS qualification requirements are not met, we cannot deem the quote to be technically acceptable. A prime/subcontracting arrangement in order to meet the PWS requirements is the sole discretion of the business, the Government is not responsible in making this decision.

(2) Is there a site walk for this solicitation?

Government Answer:

No site visitation is allowed.
