Text version

Q and A for USNS Millinocket Inventory Q1 - Respectfully request that the Government clarify how many ShipCLIP terminals will be available for use for data entry/research of shadow spares. If possible we would request that at least two be made available to the team.

Answer - There is one ShipCLIP terminal onboard at this time.

Q2 - Can the Government provide more information on specific work site in Everett (i.e., shipyard or Naval Station Everett) and any associated special access requirements for planning and estimating purposes?

Answer - MNT is at Everett Ship Repair, 2730 Federal Ave. Everett, WA. Individuals requiring unescorted access to the vessel will need to attend a shipyard safety brief the first day they will be working onboard. Hard hats, safety glasses, and safety shoes are required by the shipyard.

Q3 - Respectfully request that the Government confirm that the total estimated workload is 3,800 line items, inclusive of the current inventory on the books in CMLS, as well as any shadow spares that need to be researched and added to inventory?

Answer - Anticipate that the 3,800 line items will be in addition to the ShipClip inventory. ShipClip inventory to be provided.

Q4 - We do not see any estimates of breadth and depth of line items aboard the high speed vessel. Does MSC have these estimates?

Answer - Range 4398, Depth 16208 Q5 - Is there any flexibility in the inventory start/stop dates based on ship availability. We have one of our leads for this work coming off another assignment within days of this task.

Answer - Yes, the dates can be discussed at the kick off and they are negotiable.
