QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
The following are answers to a questions received from potential offeror. The answers provide clarification only and DO NOT constitute an amendment to the Sources Sought Notice.
Question: How long will each individual's stay be?
Answer: Stay could be 1 night, to undetermined number of nights, depending on reason they’re attached to CIVMAR Support Unit-West. Thirty days is reasonable/average hotel stay.
Question: I see the one year duration, with 4 optional renewal years, beginning Oct. 2024. Would the individual room requirements likely be year-round during that time?
Answer: Not every CIVMAR will occupy a room year round, but the requirement is to provide rooms year round – multiple CIVMARS – multiple check ins/check outs during the year Question: Regarding the transportation, would a shuttle option be required on a set schedule, ie. 8am ride to base, 6pm ride back to the hotels? Or would it be on demand 24 hours per day as needed?
Answer: A chartered type bus will be required year around and for the most part bus service will be on a set schedule.
Question: If we secured the contract, we would be a third party company, maintaining our own separate agreement with hotels and shuttle services. May we charge a resort fee in addition to the per diem rate (currently $194, and $230 for June-August)? May we also charge an additional rate for transportation?
Answer: We do not tell you how to price your requirement.
Question: Can the rooms required be accommodated at more than one hotel?
Answer: Yes, more than one hotel may be used.
