1. Statement of Work:

1.1 Provide all Labor, Material and Equipment to support rafting operations.

1.0 ABSTRACT

1.1 Provide support to ships force and gas free certification to raft all cargo and ballast tanks for inspection.

3.0 ITEM LOCATION/DESCRIPTION

3.1 Location/Quantity/Description

4.0 GOVERNMENT FURNISHED EQUIPMENT/MATERIAL/SERVICES:

4.1 None.

5.0 NOTES

5.1 Tank cleaning shall be accomplished by ships force.

5.2 Contractor shall provide certified marine chemist.

5.3 Performance period December 28, 2016 – January 10, 2017 at Craney Island Fuel Depot in Portsmouth, VA.

7.0 STATEMENT OF WORK

7.1 Contractor shall provide five (5) persons to support rafting operations onboard ship for a period of twelve (12) ten (10) hours days or a total of six hundred hours (600 hours).

7.1.2 Contractor shall ensure all rafts shall be cleaned and free of debris prior to each use.

7.1.3 Contractor shall be responsible for repairing all air leaks in rafts.

7.1.4 Contractor shall provide eight (8) 60ft length-1/2” or greater ropes to lower rafts into tanks.

7.2 Contractor shall provide two tending lines for personnel in rafts (tending lines can be those purchased in paragraph 7.1.4). Provided contractor personal shall perform all acts necessary to support tank rafting operations during the entire contract to include but not limited to line tending, moving rafts from one tank to another, setting up for next days scheduled events, etc.

7.3 Contractor shall provide a certified marine chemist to gas free thirty two (32) fuel and ballast tanks. Marine chemist shall be available to the ship for twelve (12) days, four (4) times each day (once every 2 hours starting first thing in the morning) for duration of up one hour per visit including weekends. The first two days will require the marine chemist to certify a larger number of tanks than the follow on days.

7.4 Provide the following to support rafting inspections (all material shall be turned over to the Port Engineer at the start of the contract to be used during this and subsequent inspections):

Four (4) Achilles LT-2 rafts and Two Achilles LT-4 rafts Manufacturer is Achilles

Two (2) Achilles standard inflatable boat repair kits Twelve (12) Sterns type III work life vests as follows:

Three (3) each Medium PN: 196768 Six (6) each Large PN: 196750 Three (3) each Xlarge PN: 196784 Eight (8) duel light saver 39-698-0156 Four (4) Stern Type IV throwable cushions
