QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
RFQ: N32205-17-R-2000
MSC Fuel Oil Testing
Question 1: Has a contractor performed similar work to this for the government in the past?
If available, please provide the incumbent contract number.
Answer 1: Yes, the current services are being procured under N00033-12-D-8040. Please note, this RFQ is NOT for an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract.
Question 2: If we are in the process of receiving an ISO certification, is that sufficient to bid on the contract?
Answer 2: The FAR 52.212-1 (Addendum) to the solicitation states under the technical/management approach that “The Quoter shall provide a copy of the firm’s ISO 9001:2008 and / or IEC 17025:2005 certifications.” FAR 52.212-2 states, “To be considered technically acceptable, a quote must provide all the information required in 52.212-1 (ADDENDUM) and meet the requirements listed therein.”
Without receipt of an ISO or IEC certification with the quote, the quoter would not be technically acceptable under the listed criteria.
Question 3: Are we (the quoter) to send the Exhibit 2 - Past Performance Questionnaire to our references ourselves?
Answer 3: Yes.
Based on the above questions and answers, no changes are made to the RFQ or to the quote due date.
