About this file
This Performance Work Statement (PWS) details the contractor requirements for maintenance and logistics support of the U.S. Navy's T-34 and T-6 aircraft training fleet. The contract involves comprehensive maintenance services across multiple naval air stations, including NASCC, NASWF, and NASP, with additional support for satellite sites. Key responsibilities include performing organizational and intermediate-level maintenance, component repair, engine and propeller overhaul, technical directives implementation, supply chain management, and operational support for approximately 16 T-34 and 189 T-6 aircraft.
The PWS outlines extensive technical requirements such as fixed and flight hour-generated maintenance, unscheduled and conditional maintenance, aviation life support systems management, and logistics information system tracking. The contractor must maintain high performance standards, including 96% sortie completion rate, 96% ready for production availability, and comprehensive inventory management with strict accuracy requirements. Additional responsibilities include environmental compliance, facility maintenance, equipment management, training support, and providing troubleshooters to support flight line operations. The contract includes multiple contract line item numbers (CLINs) for various maintenance and support activities, with provisions for surge capacity and over-and-above work as operational requirements dictate.
