Text version

1. Q: Original RFQ coverage from 7 am to 10:30 pm was 15.5 hours of coverage.

Revised RFQ is 7 to 16:30 which is 9.5 hours of coverage.

Is the intent to only have 8 hours of coverage, plus a 30 minute lunch break, or are you requesting an extra hour of coverage per day?

A: Revised RFQ hours to 0700 am to 15:30 pm.

2. Q: In section III, Services Description, it includes “hardware and software support for the System Automation Manager (SAM)”. It is our understanding that this is not part of the scope of work, especially not including any Nessus Vulnerability scans, STIG configuration checks, or operating system updates.

A: No on any Nessus Vulnerability scans, STIG configuration checks, or operating system updates.

Yes to hardware and software support for the System Automation Manager (SAM)”.

3. Q: Item 1 of Section IV, Government Furnished Materials and Supply, refers to Attachment II which lists the spare part inventory (TBD). We are simply verifying that we are not missing Attachment II, and that this attachment will be created before execution of the contract. As of this time, we have quoted spare parts, but have not received an order for spare parts.

A: Spare parts will be paid by Government and then replaced through Warranty. See attachment “Spare Part List”.

4. Q: Section 6, Preventative Maintenance, of section V, Tasks, refers to attachments I and II. We do not have these attachments. Is Attachment I referring to the Maintenance Manual provided for the AGV?

Is Attachment III referring to a Maintenance Manual for the Interface Cart? When will this attachment be provided?

A: See attachment “300H O&M Manual Navy Medical”.

5. Q: Please explain the last sentence of section 7.1. “If the corrective maintenance exceeds the value of the resultant contract a separate contract shall be issued at the behest of NMCSD”. Does this mean that we advise how many dollars are included in our fixed price for non-warranty parts, and if the parts required for corrective measures exceeds the allocation, then a separate contract will be issued for additional corrective measures funding?

A: Everything should be covered in the Warranty.

6. Q: Section 7.2 states “Corrective maintenance shall always be available”. We established hours of service are 7am to 15:30 Monday – Friday. Should this specification be modified to match these hours, or is this statement referring to contractor supplying support for off hours via calls to our headquarters? If this refers to support provided by off-site personnel, do we include an allowance price for a defines amount of call in support?

A: Hours of service are 7am to 15:30 Monday – Friday.

7. Q: Please confirm that the reference in Section 7.3 to AGV Elevator system is only for the AGV interface to the elevator, and not all elevator maintenance.

A: AGV interface only to the elevator, and not all elevator maintenance.

8. Q: For section VI, Performance Standards for QASP, there are several statements of “Remedy must be completed in 24 hours of hours of notification. While many repairs will be completed within 24 hours, we want to verify that this is not a requirement. Item 4 of section VI Tasks, defines the minimum quantities of AGVs and Interface Carts being operational.

A: This is not a requirement.
