Question: We do have one question regarding the requirements which lists the education level as requiring a Doctorate degree in Physical therapy, certified as a CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist), BS in Kinesiology with and emphasis in Fitness, Nutrition and Health, and CPR/AED Certification. Would the agency consider a candidate who holds a Master's degree in an accredited exercise science, health science, or physical education-related discipline along with experience in working with elite athlete populations, with a minimum of five years aggregate experience to include either the coordination of Special Operation Personnel (SOP) specific performance programs or work with other with elite athletes (i.e. Division I collegiate, Olympic, professional level athletes or SOP-specific tactical professionals),as well as having the required certifications (CSCS and CPR/AED)?
End-User: The answer would be no. I have two of the staff members you describe below in the department already. We are trying to create a diverse team of professionals to meet the multitude of needs of our patients. A DPT is what we need.
Question: Within the beta.sam.gov notice the “Original Date Offers Due” states March 12, 2020 0700 PDT, while within the “Description” it states that responses are due March 23, 2020 1000 PDT. The description also states that questions are due March 12, so it appears to be an administrative error. Could you please advise as to when responses are due?
