Performance Work Statement

Chiller Annual Service

CONTRACT

Chiller Service

ROBERT E. BUSH NAVAL HOSPITAL

MARINE CORPS AIR GROUND COMBAT CENTER

TWENTYNINE PALMS, CALIFORNIA 92278

**** For any work requiring digging, welding, or outages utilities including roads, electrical, water, gas, cable or sewer, the Contractor shall obtain the appropriate station permits through the

ROICC office. Allow fourteen (14) days after submittal for processing and approval.

SCOPE OF WORK:

The Contractor shall provide:

Run and log chiller operations

Isolate and drain condenser barrel

Brush Condenser tubes

Eddy Current Service to inspect condenser tubes

Take Oil sample

Replace Oil filter

Replace Oil return "skimmer" filter

Replace refrigerant filters for both the motor and VFD

Check VFD health

Megger motor windings to test insulation integrity, record readings

Replace condenser head gasket and fill system with water.

Run Chiller and test operations

The Contractor shall perform all work as necessary to complete the Delivery Order in a satisfactory and acceptable manner in full compliance with the plans, specifications and terms of the contract and adhere to all applicable Federal, State and local regulations, including all environmental regulations.

SUBMITTALS:

The Contractor shall provide to the Government with their Quote, the manufacturers literature on the following:

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS:

The Contractor is required to conform to the most current Edition of the U.S. ARMY

CORPS OF ENGINEERS SAFETY AND HEALTH REQUIREMENTS, EM385-1-1 and all applicable OSHA standards.

CLEAN-UP AND DISPOSAL:

Work areas shall be left in a neat and orderly manner with all debris being picked up at the end of each work day. Contractor shall remove all debris associated with the performance of this contract, from the Combat Center and dispose of at a landfill approved by the County of San

Bernardino for the acceptance of such waste.

SCHEDULE:

The Contractor is required to commence work no sooner than 0700 and be completed no later than 1630. The time stated includes final clean-up of the job site.

The Contractor shall notify NHTP Facilities Manager twenty-four (24) hours prior to starting work and upon completion of work. The Contractor shall adhere to the submitted schedule unless prior written notification is provided and approved. Telephone number 760-830-

DAILY REPORTS:

At the completion of the work the contractor shall provide Facilities Management

Department with a complete written report of all tests and work completed, any discrepancies found that could not be corrected and a list of recommendations of issues that need to be resolve that were not included in the contract work.
