About this file

This document is an Amendment 1 Questions & Answers document for a Navy contract solicitation for Combat III "FROG" Shirts. The Q&A reveals potential uncertainty about the exact shirt specifications, with the government indicating that attached photos (not included in this document) should be referenced for precise details. The vendor suggests providing either a sample shirt or a detailed specifications sheet, with the government open to reviewing the spec sheet but potentially requiring a physical sample if they cannot definitively determine compliance through documentation.

The associated federal contract opportunity (Solicitation N00244-25-Q-S005) is a 100% small business set-aside for the Navy's Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC), seeking Combat Type III frog shirts for Installation Navy Security Force departments. The solicitation is set to run until 02 MAY 2025 10:00 AM Pacific Standard Time, with a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract type and FOB Destination delivery terms. The contract will use NAICS Code 315250 (Military Clothes) with a business size standard of 750 employees.

COMBAT III “FROG” SHIRTS

AMENDMENT 1:

Questions & Answers

1: Based on research these seem to be the style shirts you're looking to receive. Is that correct?

No, please see attached photos.

2: Are you needing a sample shirt to be delivered before the contract deadline? I can do my best to have one sent out asap for you but my manufacturing dealer prioritizes larger orders of 100 textiles or more and may not be able to get it out by the 2nd of May. Alternatively I could provide you with a detailed specifications sheet confirming compliance and providing details on every requirement.

We can review a spec sheet but may require a sample if a determination cannot be made.
