About this file

This is a Register of Wage Determinations under the Service Contract Act issued by the U.S. Department of Labor, Employment Standards Administration, Wage and Hour Division. The document (Wage Determination No. 2015-4341, Revision 36, last revised 8/22/2026) establishes prevailing wage rates for service contracts in Virginia and North Carolina counties.

The wage determination applies to Virginia counties including Chesapeake, Gloucester, Hampton, Isle of Wight, James City, Mathews, Newport News, Norfolk, Poquoson, Southampton, Suffolk, Virginia Beach, Williamsburg, and York, as well as Currituck and Gates counties in North Carolina. The document lists over 200 occupational classifications across multiple categories including administrative support, automotive repair, food preparation, furniture maintenance, health occupations, information technology, instructional occupations, laundry services, machine tool operations, material handling, mechanics and maintenance, personal needs, plant operations, protective services, recreation, stevedoring, technical occupations, and transportation. Wage rates range from $14.10 per hour for cashiers to $51.54 per hour for Registered Nurse IV. All listed occupations receive fringe benefits of $5.92 per hour (up to 40 hours weekly) or $236.80 per week, with an alternative rate of $5.42 per hour under Executive Order 13786. Additional benefits include two weeks paid vacation after one year of service, a minimum of eleven paid holidays annually, and various differentials including night pay (10% for air traffic controllers and weather observers), an 8 percent hazardous materials differential, and a 4 percent differential for certain lower-hazard ordnance work. Uniform allowances are available where required, reimbursed at $1.35 per week or $0.67 per day. Computer professionals meeting specific criteria are exempt from wage determination requirements. Contractors may request authorization for additional unlisted classifications through Standard Form 1444.
