Statement of Work Containerized Gym Facility Solution
Navy Medicine Training Support Center
1. General Information
Objective: Furnish and assemble a containerized gym facility to support the Hospital Corpsman Advanced Technical Field (HM ATF) program. This includes site preparation, gym locker assembly, and installation of an overhead shade structure connected to the containerized gym to ensure functionality, safety, and durability. The scope shall also include educating the end user on how to assemble/disassemble all components.
Scope: The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and supervision necessary to install the containerized gym facility. The installation includes surveying the site to ensure it can be safely used and installing an overhead shade structure to create a safe and effective outdoor training space.
2. Requirements for Installation
2.1. Site Inspection:
Assessment: Conduct a preliminary site inspection to ensure the designated area is level, free from obstructions, and suitable for installation.
2.2. Installation of Overhead Shade Structure:
Structure Design: Attach the shade structure securely to the containerized gym on one side only. The shade structure should be capable of providing shade and weather protection for outdoor training activities.
Anchoring and Stability: Once the shade structure is attached to the containerized gym, ensure it is secured properly with reinforced anchoring to withstand wind and other environmental factors (which will allow for easy assembly/disassembly and relocation if necessary).
Safety Standards: Ensure the structure meets safety and durability standards, including load testing for hanging equipment, if applicable.
2.3. Equipment Setup:
Unload and assemble all containerized gym equipment, including racks, pull-up bars, and accessory storage systems, ensuring proper placement and secure installation.
Conduct safety inspections of all assembled equipment to verify stability and compliance with manufacturer guidelines.
2.4. Cleanup and Final Inspection:
Remove all construction debris, excess materials, and tools from the site upon completion.
Conduct a final walkthrough with the designated Government Representative to verify that the installation meets contract specifications.
3. Deliverables
Site Inspection Report: Document initial site conditions and recommendations for preparation.
Installation Plan: Provide a detailed layout and schedule for containerized gym installation and shade attachment.
Completion Report: Submit a report upon completion, including photos, safety certifications, and any necessary maintenance guidelines.
4. Date of Delivery / Period of Performance
Date of Delivery: Supply CLIN 0001 (Equipment) is scheduled for delivery on or before 180 days after award date.
Period of Performance: Service CLIN 0002 (Installation) is for the installation of the equipment and will be for a period of 12 months from the award date.
The contractor shall coordinate with the base facility working group to schedule and provide access to the site.
5. Quality Assurance
The contractor shall ensure all installation work adheres to industry standards for safety, durability, and functionality. A Navy Medicine Training Support Command representative will inspect and approve all work before final acceptance.
