1. Will the Galley be in operation during this work?A:No

1. Who will be responsible for removing, reinstalling, and recertifying the chemical fire suppression system interference? A: The contractor should be responsible for complete and usable equipment as part of the install. The appearance is none of the fire suppression system is directly connected to equipment. Whomever is awarded the contract should be responsible for a complete and usable product; anything the contractor needs adjustments to or resetting should remain their responsibility.

1. Under 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications on page 4- since we already renewed our SAM registration am I only to put a check mark next to paragraph (b)(1) as there is nothing really there to fill out? A: As stated in the RFQ description: “Clauses and Provisions to be signed”, Attachment 2, shall be signed and returned with the vendor’s quote unless referenced clauses and provisions are certified in SAM.

1. I also see this solicitation requires CAC or JPAS profile (I realize it is no longer called JPAS). Are we required to have a secret clearance of tier 1 investigation? Our employees are all United States citizens and all have active DBIDS badges. Three of them are retired military who still hold their base access credentials and all privileges. A: They do not need a security clearance.
