Replace damaged, missing or deteriorated insulation & compartment door weather stripping. Interior compartment & exterior body corrosion control will be applied and painted with original OEM paint (Paint color may be specified by the government). Inspect and replace all damaged, weathered or cracked hoses. Replace main hood hinge with stainless steel if not already done so.
2. INSTRUMENT PANEL ASSEMBLY
Operational test & evaluate instruments. Replace all defective gauges, switches & circuit components. Repair corrosion damage. Perform console interior corrosion control. Replace damaged or corroded wiring, connectors and terminal strips. Ensure connections are clean, bright and tight.
3. WIRING HARNESS, LIGHTS, CIRCUITS & CONNECTIONS
Operational test, evaluate & repair all wiring harnesses, circuits & connections. Repair or replace all corroded components (e.g.: lights diode blocks, timers, etc.) Replacement wiring & components will be marked and conform to OEM wiring schematics & diagrams.
4. SEAT, TRACKS, & MOUNTING HINGE
Repair or replace seat, seat tracks & seat mount hinge. Tears in seat fabric or excessive corrosion/rust or damage will require seat replacement.
5. STEERING SYSTEM, ARTICULATING JOINT, HOSES, VALVE & CYLINDER
Operational check, evaluate and repair steering system, articulating joint, hoses, valves & cylinders. Check/repair component corrosion.
6. SCRUBBER HEAD ASSEMBLY
Check/repair head lock hook system, pins, bushings & spring for defects and corrosion. Remove scrub head, disassemble and inspect deflector, brush motors, bushings & idler bearings. Replace squeegee & brushes. Check all components for defects, wear and corrosion. Check and adjust system operation upon re-assembly.
7. HIGH PRESSURE WASHER SYSTEM
Perform hi-pressure washer test. Check hydraulic and water system for proper operations. Adjust and replace defective components to restore system to original manufacturer’s specifications. Apply necessary corrosion control.
8. BRAKE SYSTEM / WHEEL & HAND BRAKE ASSEMBLIES
Remove wheels, inspect pads. Inspect/replace wheel bearings as needed. Inspect & reseal hydraulic drive motors if needed. Remanufacture brake calipers. Flush system and install stainless steel rotors if needed. Inspect mechanical hand brake system and tires for wear. Perform preventative maintenance to prevent rust and corrosion on all system components.
9. MAIN HYDRAULIC PUMP
Check pump for full power operation and damage. Replace or overhaul if found defective or damaged. Inspect, repair all linkage from pedal to pump valve, adjust linkage to insure no creep in neutral. Check springs, bearings & ball joints for defects, rust and corrosion. Repair or replace defective components.
10. VACUUM SYSTEM
Inspect/Repair vacuum fan to meet original factory specifications. Check bearings, housing, mounts and hydraulic motor for defects or corrosion.
11. WATER & SOLUTION TANKS
Inspect water & solution tanks for damage. Inspect all hoses for wear, weathering and defects. Replace all defective/missing inspection door gaskets. Prepare recovery tank surfaces for corrosion control Belzona Liner. Coat internal surfaces & test.
12. HAND WASH & DUAL HOSE KIT ASSEMBLIES
Inspect all components for damage & weathering. Check all rubber hooks, holding brackets & components for damage and wear. Replace all missing or defective parts.
13. REAR VACUUM SQUEEGEE ASSEMBLY
Inspect rear vacuum squeegee assembly. Test raise and lower cylinder for proper operation and leaks. Inspect all components for wear, damage and corrosion. Evaluate extent of main frame corrosion. Replace all bearings, bushings & castors if needed. Change out blades if more than two edges are worn.
14. HYDRAULIC SYSTEM COMPONENTS
Operational test of hydraulic system & components, check & adjust pressure of components as needed. Replace filters & fluid.
15. ENGINE ASSEMBLY AND COMPONENTS
Operational test engine for proper rpm, power out, excessive smoke and running temperature. Inspect fuel system for leaks, damage & corrosion. Inspect water pump & bearings. Pressure test coolant system. Change out all fluids and filters. Check charging system. Replace belts and hoses. Conduct compression test. Repair or replace defective engine peripheral components found during test/inspection.
Note: SOW does not include full engine replacement. Units requiring complete engine replacement will be furnished by the Government via the QEC Naval Supply System.
Normal Flight Deck Scrubber overhaul turnaround time is not to exceed 12 weeks from date of delivery.
Government representative reserves the right to inspect all flight deck scrubber prior to, during and after completion of contracted repairs at vendor’s location.
