Questions and Answers (For informational purposes only)
Where is the stock pile location, if more than one please list?
Stock piles of all aggregate types are located behind building 2713, which is also the main point of delivery. When projects are on-going, delivery directly to the job site is required (job site may be specified in individual delivery orders). Temporary stock piles may be created at these locations. Historically, approximately 25 to 30% of the time delivery has been made to other on-center sites. See description/specifications section paragraph 5.1.
Would you require any of our trucks to spread material for maintenance of the roads?
Yes; see description/specifications section paragraph 5.2 of RFQ.
Would you consider dividing the contract to allow for a separate bid on the cost of trucking now that there are 2 certified small trucking companies interested?
The Government anticipates making a single award.
Due to the economic adjustment only being allowed once a year, would you allow for a weekly fuel surcharge update that correlates with the Energy Information Administration’s weekly regional update for the cost of fuel?
The RFQ requires a FFP for each CLIN, inclusive of all costs required to deliver the material. Any equitable adjustments will be in accordance the DFARS clause 252.243-7002.
