About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for solicitation N0017826Q6730, a Request for Quotation (RFQ) issued by the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) for Network Hardware electrical wire and cable products. The document clarifies quantity specifications for cable reels: CLIN 0001 requires 30 reels of 1,000-foot cable for a total of 30,000 feet, and CLIN 0002 requires the same reel configuration totaling 50,000 feet. The clarification was necessary as the original requirements spreadsheet did not explicitly distinguish between the number of reels and linear footage across all line items.

The solicitation involves a brand name acquisition from specific Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) including Premier Conduit, Panduit Electrical, ABB Carlon, Chatsworth, Hubbell, Prysmian Group, and Brady Co. The RFQ was anticipated to close on April 10, 2026, with publication in SAM.gov on April 7, 2026. The contracting officer is Amanda Marcella at NSWCDD, reachable at 540-742-5001 or amanda.m.marcella.civ@us.navy.mil. This is a commercial acquisition under FAR Part 12 with simplified procedures; Buy American requirements apply unless the threshold for Trade Agreements is exceeded.

N0017826Q6730 – Q&A Q. I need to clarify something: On the spreadsheet where you have reels listed and the quantity do you mean 30 reels? Or 30 ft? I do see where you indicated feet on one line but I want to be sure for the lines above.

A. Qty. 30, 1000 foot reels for a total of 30,000 feet. Same for CLIN 0002 (50,000 feet).
